Carers in Bedfordshire: Young Carer Wellbeing Practitioner, Bedford, £27,662 pa, full time.

We are on the lookout for a Young Carer Wellbeing Practitioner to provide support to unpaid young carers who are at risk of carer breakdown, through a range of wellbeing interventions, addressing practical as well as wider health and wellbeing needs. The post holder will deliver low intensity psychosocial 1:1 and group interventions to clients with mild to moderate mental health difficulties.

Women's Aid in Luton: Refuge Support Officer - Domestic Abuse, Luton, £24,948 - £26,845 pa, full time, permanent.

We are a dedicated Domestic Abuse Charity supporting Women exposed to gender-based violence and exploitation, and their children to be safe and have access to appropriate interventions and support in order to live free from fear and harm.

As a Volunteer Coordinator, you will be responsible for the recruitment, training and coordinating the activity of volunteers with lived experience who will support people completing treatment. Working in partnership with the Bid Writer identify opportunities for funding applications to relevant charitable Trusts and Foundations. Sight Concern: Access and Triage Officer, Bedford, £23,151 fte, part time (20 hours per week).

You will provide a central point of access for responding to initial external enquiries by phone and email and requests for information from Service Users. You will support an effective and efficient service delivery by screening all incoming enquiries and referrals, identifying their initial needs and uploading service user details to our system for processing; conduct Triage Assessments upon initial referral and follow up to check and measure client wellbeing and progress.

Open Doors Training: Admin Support, Bedford, £12 per hour, part time (at least 21 hours per week).

To provide administrative support in enhancing the effective running of the activities of Open Doors Training and Development Trust. The charity’s activities involve, skills training, health awareness education programme for different cultural communities, it provides information, advice and guidance to the unemployed and those in need of our services for example youths, refugees, who may be isolated, going through life changes, vulnerable elderly particularly from Minority Ethnic communities or hard-to-reach individuals who may be at risk of barriers to employment or social interaction.
