Bedfordshire Cloth Nappy Library
A nappy kit host will have one or two nappy kits. There are two kit types: newborn or birth-to-potty. The volunteer will have the kit at their home while it isn't being used.
Great Barford & Colmworth Scouts
Beavers Leader and Assistant Leaders
We’re looking for enthusiastic volunteers to join our Beaver Scouts section (for children aged 6–8). As a Beaver Leader or Assistant Beaver Leader, you’ll help provide a safe, fun, and adventurous programme that inspires young people, builds confidence, and develops skills for life.
Cubs Leader and Assistant Leaders
We are looking for enthusiastic volunteers to join our Cub Scouts section, working with children aged 8–10½ years. Cubs is an exciting stage where young people develop confidence, make friends, and learn new skills through games, activities, and outdoor adventures.
Squirrels Leader and Assistant Leader
We’re looking for enthusiastic volunteers to join our Squirrels section (for children aged 4–6). Our Squirrels group was created about 18 months ago and was the first in the County.

School reader volunteers needed in Bedfordshire
1 in 4 children left primary school last year unable to read well. This means they are unable to fully access their secondary education and this can have a lifelong impact. Schoolreaders wants to help change this.

Our Environmental Action Team goes out every day from Monday toFriday to tackle practical conservation activities around Bedfordshire and the surrounding area. You might be planting trees, clearing ponds, managing meadows and lots more.
