Re-engage
As a call companion you’ll make regular telephone calls to an older person experiencing loneliness and isolation. These friendly chats provide a lifeline of friendship for older people and a vital link with the outside world from which they’ve become isolated.
As a tea party group coordinator, you’ll plan, organise and schedule monthly tea parties in your local area. This is an administrative role that requires communicating and socialising with older guests, volunteer hosts and drivers from all walks of life.
As a tea party driver, you’ll collect older guests from their homes, accompany them to the monthly tea party and drive them home again afterwards. The tea party will be at a different volunteer host’s home each month and will include older guests, other volunteer drivers and the tea party group coordinator.
As a tea party host, you’ll host a tea party in your home once or twice a year providing refreshments for the older guests, volunteer drivers and the tea party group coordinator.

The Pachamama Project CIO
Sewing for charity - making reusable pads for people experiencing period poverty around the world
Anyone with some spare time and access to a sewing machine can get involved. Our volunteers sew from home or in self-organised friendship groups. It is a zero-commitment role with volunteers coming and going, staying long term or using us as a one-off vounteering opportunity.

Villager Bus (Sharnbrook) Ltd
We are seeking volunteer drivers for our Community Bus in North Bedfordshire. We are run and operated by volunteers and provide transport facilities to town and village communities throughout North Bedfordshire via a scheduled timetable.
