National Animal Welfare Trust
This volunteer role involved serving customers and supporting the work of the National Animal Welfare Trust (NAWT). Key responsibilities included handling cash transactions, maintaining cleanliness and organisation within the shop, and preparing stock for sale by sorting, steaming clothes, and restocking shelves.

1 to 1' Cooking and Kitchen Skills Volunteer
The main purpose of this role is to work with clients with acquired brain injury in a '1 to 1' setting to complete a variety of activities related to cookery. This may involve all steps in the process from choosing recipes to cook, putting together a shopping list, preparation of the kitchen area prior to cooking, following recipes and cleaning up afterwards.
The main purpose of this role is to work with clients with acquired brain injury on an individual basis to complete a variety of everyday IT specific activities, such as teaching clients how to use emails, calendars, access apps etc.

Carers in Bedfordshire
You will be part of our memory navigation team, providing telephone support 2- 4 hours per week and proactively calling people with dementia, people with memory concerns, and also carers of people with these conditions. People often struggle to keep find their way around services so your help will guide and encourage them.

Fundraising and Engagement Department Volunteer
To support and enable the functions of the Fundraising and Engagement department, this role involves a variety of tasks aimed at promoting Mind BLMK and raising funds.
This role involves supporting the Luton Wellbeing Centre team in the delivery of their regular drop-in service.
Flittabus Community Transport Ltd
Flittabus runs scheduled services 6 days a week, serving the towns and villages in Central Bedfordshire. Anyone can use Flittabus but the majority of passengers are elderly and rely on Flittabus for their weekly shopping. Drivers get to know the regulars and will often help with shopping bags.
The Coroners' Court Support Service

The Coroners’ Court Support Service is seeking volunteers to support families and witnesses that attend Inquests at Coroners’ Courts. Everything we do is based on our values and our volunteers and staff are expected to represent the organisation in a way which is centred on these values.
Friendship Link and Action Group
We’re always looking for friendly, reliable volunteers to support our members at events. You can join us as a regular volunteer for our bi-monthly events, or help out as and when you’re available.
FACES
FACES are always on the lookout for new volunteers to support families with children aged 0-19 and who are experiencing hardship due to various reasons including domestic abuse, mental health struggles or isolation.
Trustees of charity boards are the final decision-makers. They have oversight of all the charity’s decisions and to set the charity's direction. The Trustee Board has ultimate responsibility for the strategic direction of the charity, ensuring that it complies with charity law and that it is well run.
Family Support - Family Groups
We are looking for volunteers to help at our family support groups. The FACES family support groups are for families who do not usually access other services for a variety of reasons. The aim of the groups are to reduce social isolation for children and parents, promote school readiness and help with child development.
