CVS is beginning the process of recruiting a new Chief Executive Officer. After 28 years of supporting the local VCSE sector, Martin Trinder has taken the decision to step down from the role, to seek new challenges and opportunities. Having worked for CVS since the last millennium (just!), Martin has overseen significant changes in both CVS as an organisation, and the wider voluntary and community sector that it supports.
CVS is now looking for a successor to take the organisation forward in this exciting new chapter.
Chief Executive Officer
35 hours per week | £47,411 per annum + pension | Permanent
CVS Bedfordshire supports, connects, and champions the local voluntary and community sector.
We are seeking an ambitious and values-driven Chief Executive Officer to lead the organisation forward.
This is a high-impact leadership role where you will shape strategy, influence local systems, and ensure strong, sustainable support for communities across Bedfordshire.

• Champion the voice of the sector
• Build and strengthen partnerships
• Ensure high-quality, impactful services
• Lead and develop a dedicated team
