Afrocentricles is a newly established, not-for-profit grassroots community organisation dedicated to supporting and empowering individuals of the African diaspora. Our group operates across two core areas to create positive social change: 1: Tackling Employment Inequality: We are building a digital, free-to-use Global Professional Directory and Mentorship Network. This platform removes systemic workplace barriers by connecting marginalised, Black job seekers and career-changers with top-tier professional mentors for CV building and skill upskilling. 2: Enabling Participation in Cultural Arts: We host community heritage workshops, including our 'Taste of Africa' weekend sessions. (free access to traditional African storytelling, native languages, and culinary arts, helping young people build a resilient sense of identity and pride.
